HMK® R183 is a special acid-based concentrated cleaner (salt and phosphoric acid-free) designed to quickly and effectively remove cement film, grout haze, mortar residue, limescale, efflorescence, and heavy construction dirt. Perfect for use on all acid-resistant natural and artificial stone surfaces as well as rough concrete, ceramic tile, porcelain, brick tile, and composite quartz.

Safe for interior and exterior applications, HMK® R183 delivers professional results on granite, gneiss, sandstone, roughcast stone, and other durable stone types.

Directions for Use

1. Turn off underfloor heating and allow the surface to cool.

2. Pre-wet the stone thoroughly with clean water.

3. Dilute HMK® R183 with water (1:2 to 1:10 depending on contamination level).

4. Scrub into the surface using a stiff brush, floor pad, or scrubbing machine.

5. Allow a few minutes to work, but do not allow the cleaner to dry (sprinkle water if needed).

6. Scrub again and remove the dirty solution with a wet vac or by rinsing well with water.

7. Neutralize and lift any remaining residue with HMK® R155 Intensive Cleaner (diluted 1:20).

8. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

⚠️ For extremely soiled surfaces, repeat the process as needed. Use HMK® Z702 Defoamer when using a wet vacuum.
