HMK® S235 is a ready-to-use silicone/acrylic-based surface sealant that delivers a durable, matte protective finish for natural and artificial stone. Specifically designed for honed, brushed, flamed, riven, and sandblasted surfaces, this professional-grade sealer reduces the penetration of water, dirt, and grease, while enhancing the natural color and structure of stone.

Recommended Uses

Application Instructions

1. Clean thoroughly with HMK® R155 Intensive Cleaner, rinse, and allow at least 24 hours drying (residual moisture < 2–4%).

2. Switch off underfloor heating and allow the stone to cool.

3. Apply HMK® S235 generously and evenly with a natural bristle brush or HMK® Z950/Z951 brushes.

4. Avoid puddling. One to two applications are typically sufficient depending on porosity.

5. For stronger color enhancement, apply a second coat after 12 hours.

6. Allow 4–6 hours before walking on the surface. Full protection develops within 24 hours.

For ongoing maintenance and long-lasting results, clean regularly with HMK® P324 Liquid Stone Soap.
